Maxima Pictures is an entertainment production company and one of the leading filmmaking establishments based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Our debut film was a movie called Cinta Pertama (Int'l Title: First Love), which pemiered in December 2006. Since then, we have produced more than 27 movies and counting. Many of our films have received much recognition and critical praise such as The Butterfly, released in 2007, which won Best Soundtrack at the Bali Internasional Film Festival. Our films have also been recognized internationally with one of our titles, Air Terjun Pengantin (Int'l Title: Bride's Waterfall), premiering at the International Film Festival London in 2010.

While our production capability covers a variety of genres, we maintain a strong focus in horror films that shock and entertain while appealing to mass audiences. Major box office successes from Maxima Pictures include Tali Pocong Perawan (Int'l Title: The Virgin Corpse) in 2008 and Air Terjun Pengantin (Int'l Title: Bride's Waterfall) in 2009. Efficiency is a key strength of our production department which has proprietary shooting equipment including offline and online post production capabilities. Our projects are also backed by our in-house marketing department, recognized by our quality key-art and innovative advertising. Maxima Pictures has the experience of working with some of Indonesia's premier directors, top soundtrack composers and reputable talent. Our productions also venture out internationally by involving talent from overseas, notably the U.S, Taiwan and Japan.
